Spark of Love - 2011
The holiday season is upon us, which means the Spark of Love Toy Drive is as well. This year the Corona Fire Department will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children within our community. This toy drive is unique in the fact that all toys collected get distributed by the Settlement House, which is a non-profit organization here in the city, to children within the City of Corona. Collection boxes have been placed at all Corona Fire stations, as well as our Headquarters at city hall. The program will run from November 7th until December 24th. The addresses to each fire station are listed below. Thank you for your support in making the holidays better for our families in need!

Every year, thousands of children experience a Christmas morning with no gifts to open. To help tackle this crisis,
KABC-7 and Southland firefighters host the “Spark of Love Toy Drive.” With love and support of “Spark of Love Toy Drive” donors and sponsors, children across Southern California will receive a new toy each holiday season. For more information, please visit

Fire Ops 101: An Introduction to the Fire Service
In a first for the Corona Firefighters Association, members have come together to show the leaders and dignitaries from the City of Corona a little bit of how it feels to be a firefighter, as well as explain tasks, the capabilities, and the limitations of current equipment and staffing. Special thanks to Engineer Ryan Rolston for leading this fantastic program and FF John Deyoe for leading the video production of this event!
